For thousands of healthy, happy men and women, Associates in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery provides a new look, a younger look, and a fresh self-image. James E. Eyssen, M.D., Arthur J. vonWerssowetz, M.D., and Christopher W. Chase, M.D. have dedicated their careers to fulfilling patient needs and exceeding expectations in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Through their practice they provide excellent care and results for the most important people on earth, their patients. Patients can have confidence that whether their needs are reconstructive or aesthetic, they will receive professional treatment, personal attention and thorough education, consultation and follow-up care. The Value of Board CertificationBoard certification from the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and fellowship in the American College of Surgeons (FACS) indicate the highest levels of peer review and professional credentials plastic surgeons can attain. Unfortunately, in recent years, several new cosmetic surgery "boards" have been organized to certify doctors trained in specialties like oral surgery and ear nose and throat as cosmetic or reconstructive surgeons. Be informed that the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is the only plastic and reconstructive surgery certification recognized by the American Medical Association.

Finances and Insurance InformationHow much does cosmetic surgery cost? As you might expect, the charges for procedures vary widely, depending on a variety of factors. For most procedures, however we are able to provide reliable estimates of costs, including not only surgeons fees, but also the cost of surgical facilities and anesthesia. Because finances can sometimes be a barrier to plastic surgery, we strive to keep the cost of care as low as possible without compromising quality. We offer several payment options including financing and major credit cards. Insurance coverage for cosmetic surgery is rare, but is more likely for reconstructive surgery. Our staff will work with you and your insurance company to secure any applicable coverage or reimbursement. We will prepare appropriate claim forms and submit them for you.
