Christopher W. Chase, M.D., FACS, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, graduating with high honors. He then earned his M.D. degree at James H. Quillen College of Medicine, East Tennessee State University. There Dr. Chase was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, a member of the Admissions Committee, and graduated Salutatorian of his class. He then completed training in General Surgery at Erlanger Medical Center, Chattanooga, TN. Dr. Chase continued on to complete training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC.
Dr. Chase is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Tennessee Medical Association and the Chattanooga/Hamilton County Medical Society. He has published articles in prestigious medical journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Journal of Vascular Surgery, and The American Surgeon.
Dr. Chase and his wife, Debbie, have twin daughters. When he’s not working, Dr. Chase enjoys fishing and spending time on the river.
He also serves patients at an office in Cleveland, TN.
